Palestinian issue found a new life thank to Imam Khomeini

Chief executive of the Iranian Daily Jomhuri-e Eslami says the Palestinian issue found a new life thank to the stanch support of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini.

Hojatoleslam Masih Mohajeri was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) on the eve of the 26th demise anniversary of the great personality.

The senior media personality said the Palestinians had got frustrated by the treason of Arab leaders before the Islamic Revolution of Iran until they fund their salvation in keeping a close community with Islamic teachings.

“The Palestinian movement at the time bore a pan-Arab color however it could win the support of the Muslim community after the Palestinians adopted an Islamic approach,” Mohajeri added.

“Imam Khomeini reaffirmed on several occasions that the Palestinian issue is an issue of Islam and all Muslims must feel responsibility towards it,” he said, adding the current powerful status of the Palestinian movement has come about thank to Imam Khomeini’s revolution and teachings.
