Resistance groups born out of Imam Khomeini’s thoughts

Yemeni thinker, Ahmad Abd al-Qader Vazir who is in Iran for attending the commemoration ceremonies for the memory of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini says the late Imam presented the Palestinian issue as the primary issue of the Muslim community.

The Yemeni thinker attached a great significance to the late Imam’s designation of the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the international day of Qods marches, adding the move helped Muslims to get united.

“Should Imam Khomeini had not launched his revolution, there was no Palestinian issue in the international scene,” he said.

The Yemeni thinker also said Imam Khomeini taught other nations to respect their dignity and freedom, adding the late Imam laid the foundation of the regional resistance groups.

Asked about the role of the Zionist regime in the creation of the ISIL terror group, the Yemeni figure was positive, saying the world arrogance, including Israel seek to deal a fatal blow to Islam by unleashing such terror groups in the region.
