Imam's thoughts not affected by sectarian affiliations

Deputy head of the association of Palestinian students in Iran says the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini revived revolutionary and anti-oppression motivations in the heart of millions of Muslims and non-Muslims.
Abd al-Aziz an-Nakhala also told the Qods News Agency the late Imam tabled the Palestinian issue as a top agenda fro the Muslim community.
The Palestinian activist appreciated the Islamic Republic's support to the nation, adding Iran has increasingly boosted its support to the Palestinian resistance groups.
"The support shows that the Iranian revolution did not belong to the Iranians alone," he said.
Highlighting the Imam's role in getting Muslims united in the struggle against the Zionist regime, Nakhala said Imam's thoughts were not affected by sectarian affiliations.
