US people know little about Iranian leader

Former US Navy staff, Gordon Duff says the American people know little about the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, adding however that a facebook page run by the leader’s office has been much influential among the people.

Duff who now serves as chief editor in Veterans Today journal was speaking to the Quds News Agency (Qudsna).

The chief editor said he would like to meet with the leader, adding his meeting would please him much more than meeting any other leader in the world.

Duff then touched on the role of Ayatollah Khamenei in supporting the Palestinian issue and said the western media seek to block his views.

“That’s a shame that the Iranian leader’s views are only covered within the Middle East,” he said.

Asked about the ISIL terror group, the analyst said there are so many evidences that point to Israel’s role in promoting the terror group.

“Israel clearly supports them and offers aerial support to them. Israel has provided them with many helps, leading to internal conflicts in Iraq and Syria,” he said.
