Imam Khomeini helped Palestinian struggle to survive

A Lebanese political activist says the late father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini realized the malicious conspiracy of the Zionists in dividing the Muslim community sooner than any other Muslim personality.

Sheikh Mo’men Marwan Rofa’ee made the remarks in an interview with the Quds News Agency (Qudsna).

Rofa’ee also said the Palestinian resistance against Israel has survived thank to the efforts of the late Imam.

Touching on the designation by Imam Khomeini of the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as Day of Quds, the activist said the move aimed at offering the Muslim community a chance to get united.

The Lebanese personality said the ongoing regional crises are parts of a Zionist project aimed at dividing the Muslim community.

“The day of Quds is an opportunity to support the Palestinian struggle and their identity,” he said.
