Day of Quds sounds alarms about Israel threat

Hamas spokesman in Gaza has expressed hope Muslims in the region would produce a massive presence in the upcoming July 10 international day of Quds.

Mushir Al-Masri told the Qods News Agency that the Zionist regime is using the current regional conflicts as an opportunity to expand its repressive actions against the Palestinian nation.

“The International day of Quds is a day when Muslims may unit with one another and condemn their foremost enemy, Israel,” he said.

Asked about Imam Khomeini’s stance on the Palestinian issue, the Hamas spokesman said the designation of the Quds day by the late Imam was fruitful in reviving the Palestinian issue and providing a chance to condemn Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian nation and their holy sites.

“The day of Quds sounds alarms for Muslims about the threat of Israel,” the Palestinian official said, adding the occasion may usher in a new approach in countering the Zionist enemy.
