Weapon of resistance levelled at Israel

Representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement says the Takfiri groups, inclduing the ISIL deal a blow to Islam, adding the Palestinian movement never accepts their idea of forming a government through force.

Naser Abu Sharif was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) in Tehran.

The Palestinian figure also suggested that the Takfiri groups are managed and influenced by foreign spy agencies, adding the spy agencies seek to use them to secure their interests.

In another regard, the Palestinian figure said the resistance movements in Palestine have all leveled their weapons at Israel rather then the Islamic community.

"The key enemy of the region and all Muslims is Israel," Abu Sharif said, adding Israel was using the disturbances in the region as a breathing space.

The Palestinian envoy touched on the burning to death of a Palestinian toddler a few days ago and said the Palestinian groups must get united against the Israeli crimes.

As for the idea of delivering weapons to the Palestinian community in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian figure was positive, adding the Zionists are concerned about a third intifada.

Abu Sharif however said a prospective third Intifada was facing several hurdles, including the Ramallah-based Palestinian Authority's policy, the PA security coordination with Israel and the crises in the Muslim community.

"The Muslim community has forgotten the Palestinian issue," the Palestinain envoy regretted.

He noted that large monies are spent in actions that actually weaken the Muslim community, including the internal conflicts.

Abu Sharif touched on Saudi bombing of Yemen and said the price of an airplane was sufficient for equipping the Palestinian resistance with best weapons for three years.

"They kill Muslims while they refuse to fire a bullet at Israel," he deplored.

"Saudi Arabia has spent 200 billion dollars in its war on Yemen; many of our problems would have been resolved if the country had allocated only 500 million dollars to Palestine," the envoy said.
