Jenin camp still stands as beacon of resistance
Monday night, an elite Zionist force forced into the Jenin refugee camp only to face a fierce resistance from the residents before leaving the area.
Zionist forces were going to arrest two resistance leaders, Bassam al-Saadi, a leader of Islamic Jihad movement and Majdi abu al-Heija, a newly-released leader of Hamas, but they failed after facing an armed resistance from the residents that left an Israeli officer injured.
The Israeli forces abandoned their quest for al-Saadi however they arrested Majdi and his brother so that they would have not left empty handed.
Of more note however is that the Israeli operation was carried out based on tips provided by the Palestinian Authority, further proving that the Authority serves as a Fifth Column for the Zionist regime.
A major demand now among the mainstream Palestinian public is that the Authority at least stop its security cooperation with the regime if not having the courage for coming to the help of the anti-Israeli force.
Also, the Israeli operation showed that the release of certain Palestinians by the regime is show as they are re-arrested a few weeks later.
The Israeli campaign of arrest also indicated that Palestinians would immediately embark on anti-Israeli efforts as soon as they are released, never being affected by the prison ordeal.
Israeli authorities have apparently grown concerned after the Jenin Camp developments. The Camp showed it still stands as a beacon of resistance, braving the sort of massacres once conducted against its residents during Ariel Sharon era.
