Saudi partly to blame over Mina tragedy

A senior leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement says the Saudi government is partly to blame over the Mina tragedy in which over 2,000 people lost their life in Saudi Arabia.

Abdullah Shami told the Qods News Agency that the tragedy was painful, adding measures must be adopted in order to prevent any repetition of similar mishaps.

The Palestinian personality also expressed sympathy with the Iranian people.

Shami also warned about any disunity in the Muslim community, adding the Zionist regime is bent on misusing any trace of discord in the world of Islam.
