Pro-Palestinian activists stage protest in US
A "Day of Rage" in support of Palestine was staged on Tuesday in front of the Israeli Mission in New York joined by many pro-Palestinian activists.
The protest rally was led by independent American analyst, Caleb Maupin who has already served as a leading activist in the Occupy protests a few years ago.
Maupin urged during the protest that every American citizen was supposed to join the rally as to protest the supply of American tax money to Israel.
“Every single day, 18 million dollars of our tax money goes to fund the criminals sitting in that building there,” he slammed.
Maupin enquired why the daily aid was given to "murdurers in Tel Aviv" amid growing economic problems in the US.
He said the US was increasingly turning similar to Israel with the NY police forces being trained by Israel and a same arms company making bullets shot at protesters both in Fergusson and Missouri and in the occupied Palestine.
Maupin then talked of a global combat against Zionism and Israeli criminals, adding the combat is also levelled at Londoner and Wall Street bankers who are destroying the world.
“This is a struggle against the global capitalism,” he said.
In the meantime, the protesters chanted “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” a slogan that demands the full restoration of the pre-1948 Palestine to its true owners, Palestinian people.
