Current intifada, chance for Palestinians to stand on feet
A senior Iranian activist says the course of developments have taught the Palestinian people that they have no other option but to struggle in order to survive.
Chairman of the NGO ‘Intifada Campaign,’ Ramazan Sharif was speaking to the Quds News Agency (Qudsna).
The activist noted that this time however, the Palestinians have found themselves to be alone, having no support from the Arab states.
The activist also considered it a distinction of the current protests that the West Bank population has joined the anti-Israeli protests for a first time. “The reality has further encouraged the Palestinian nation,” he said.
Sharif said it was an opportunity for the Palestinian to cut their hope in the Arab states and stand on their feet against Israel.
He also commended the Palestinian population in the occupied West Bank for devising the new method of knife attacks in the face of the head-to-toe armed Israeli forces, adding the current intifada is distinguished with the features of unity and harmony among the Palestinian people.
