Press authority lauds Qodsna performance in ongoing intifada

Deputy of press affairs in the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance says the Palestinian issue remains a primary issue in the Muslim community and a specialized news agency should always exist to cover the Palestinian developments.

Hossein Entezami made the remarks while inspecting the Qodsna pavilion in the 21^st international press fair in Tehran on Monday.

The press authority said with a specialized agency in place to follow the Palestinian developments, other media outlets may find some convenience in pursuing the issue.

Entezami reaffirmed that the Palestinian issue was a strategic issue for the Islamic Republic.

He also praised the Qodsna media corps for their work, adding Qodsna could cover the ongoing Intifada developments favorably.

“The news agency serves as main source of news for other media outlets and even has influence across the Muslim community,” he said.
