3rd intifada dealing blows to Zionist community

One in every five Israelis knows someone who has sustained some sort of blows during the current anti-occupation attacks that have well passed its two-month mark.

The fact was acknowledged in two internet polls conducted by Panels Politics for the Zionist daily 'Jerusalem Post' and its sister publication, Maariv.

Some 21 percent of the respondents said they knew someone injured in the attacks and 3% said they did not want to answer.

The two polls of 500 people each were conducted on November 24 and 26 and has a 4.3 margin of error.

It focused only on the Zionist population of Israel ages 18 and over.

Out of those surveyed, 51% were female and 49% were male.

The daily admitted that the answers reflected the insecurity Israelis feel about the attacks that have already 22 Israeli occupiers dead in 142 separate attacks, including 84 stabbings, 30 shootings and 12 car ramming attacks.

In light of a situation in which there is often multiple attacks in a single day, 77% said they felt unsafe. Out of those 77 percent, 52% said they didn’t feel so safe and the other 25% stated they felt unsafe.

In a separate question which specifically asked about their personal sense of security, only 4% said it had not been impacted in the last few months and one percent said they did not know.
