Palestinian intifada, exceptional phenamenon

An Iranian official says the current Palestinian intifada was exceptional and admirable in light of the woes and harsh problems the Palestinian nation faces.

Deputy of international affairs in the Iranian Islamic Culture and Communications, Abbas Khamehyar was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) on the sidelines of an international conference in Tehran on internal Muslim unity.

Khamehyar argued that the Palestinian intifada started amid the divisive moves of those in the Muslim community who claim to be professing support to the Palestinian issue.

“All Muslim abilities must be called in support of the Palestinian intifada as a minimum task,” he said, adding Muslim intellectuals must expamine the possible ways to pass through the current crises in the community.
