Muslim community in dire need of unity

Tunisian scholar, Mohammad Tijani al-Samawi says the Muslim states must seriously strive to get united, adding no country would be excused in case of failure.

The Tunisian Alim was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) on the sidelines of a pro-unity conference in Tehran.

Asked about the Saudi war on Yemen, Tijani expressed regret that the war has broken out at time when the Muslim states are in dire need of unity in order to counter against numerous conspiracies facing the Muslim community.

The Tunisian scholar expressed hope the regional states would wake up from their sleep and witness the realities on the ground in the region.

Asked about the current anti-occupation Palestinian intifada, Tijani said he regularly follows up the developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, adding the Palestinian youths are applying any means at hand in order to counter the occupiers.
