Intifada, motivated by robust resolve of Palestinians

A senior Palestinian personality says the occupied al-Quds (‘Jerusalem’) remains to be the foremost concern for the Muslim community, adding Muslims must beware against forgetting the issue amid the regional chaos.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad representative in Tehran, Naser Abu Sharif was speaking in a panel discussion on the latest Palestinian developments in Tehran on Tuesday.

“The Palestinian issue tops the Muslim issues,” Abu Sharif said, adding the western-Zionist axis seeks to sidelines the issue.

The Palestinian personality touched on the ongoing anti-occupation intifada and noted “it was a major achievement for the Zionists to see the Muslim community absent from the scene of intifada.”

Abu Sharif also noted that with the anti-occupation intifada past the three month point, three operations were carried out daily in the occupied Palestine against the occupiers.

The senior Palestinian activist said the anti-occupation struggle was motivated by the robust resolve of the Palestinian nation, adding the Muslim community should come to the help of the nation.
