Seizure of US boat also bears a message for Israel
Senior Palestinian analyst, Naser al-Leham says the IRGC seizure of a US military boat in the Persian Gulf signaled the end of US grandeur in the world, adding nowadays only Arab leaders are fazed by the US government.
Leham wrote in the Palestinian website, Maan that while the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu was inspecting his US-sponsored naval force, the world was watching the military seizure in the waterway.
“While Israel was celebrating the delivery of a fifth German-made submarine, the world was watching the IRGC seizure of the boat,” he noted.
The analyst acknowledged that the world has had witnessed the naval incident on few other occasions, adding no country in the world has dared ever to tread on the US military grandeur.
The analyst called the Persian Gulf incident a watershed in the Middle East history, adding since 1956, no Arab leader has dared to stand against the US government as the key sponsor of the Israeli occupiers.
Leham wished to see a day when an Arab country would seize a US military boat and would demand the US an apology instead of the current, perpetual apology of the Arab states to the US government.
The analyst also noted that the Arab community was fed up with the Shia-Sunni conflict, adding the community no longer wishes to see the Arab and Muslim wealth be squandered on the conflict among Muslim brothers.
