Pecae out of reach as long as West backs Israel

Prominent US journalist, Stephen Lendman reaffirms the growing international idea that the occupying regime of Israel has left a trail of atrocities over the Palestinian nation.

“Israel persecuted and brutalized Palestinians throughout its sordid history - with full US-led Western backing unchanged today,” he wrote to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) in an email interview.

The American intellectual lamented that the Palestinian resistance is fragmented and unorganized with no leadership, adding the problems have kept it from being succeeded after so many years.

Lendman also lauded the 1979 Islamic Revolution of Iran as a forthright opponent of the Zionist viciousness, adding Zionism is an “enemy of Jews and non-Jews alike, an extremist ideology terrorizing opponents.”

The intellectual added however that peace and stability would be out of reach in the region as long as the Western governments back Israel.

“As long as America and other Western countries support Israel, partnering in its high crimes, regional peace and stability will continue being the impossible dream - along with Palestinian liberation denied,” he wrote.
