Regional nations would rather model Iranian revolution

A leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad says the Arab and Islamic states in the region would rather take model from the Iranian Islamic Revolution and bring to office a government based on genuine Islam.

Mahmoud al-Saadi was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) a few days ahead of the 37^th anniversary of the victory of the revolution.

Saadi said the Iranian revolution restored hope to the oppressed nations of the world and motivated them to depose their dictator regimes.

As for the current anti-occupation intifada, the Palestinian personality said the current intifada indicates that the Palestinian young generation only considers an armed struggle as the way to restore its rights.

Saadi noted that the Palestinians have growingly brushed up their weapons of resistance in the face of the Zionist enemy.
