1979 Islamic Revolution turned Palestinian issue into a global one

A senior pro-Palestinian figure in Iran says the Palestinian issue went on vogue in the international politics following the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Secretary General of the Society in Defense of the Palestinian Nation, Zahra Mostafavi was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) as the nation prepared to commemorate the 37^th anniversary of the victory of the revolution.

Mostafavi said the Palestinian nation and the rest of the oppressed nations in the region have been indeed motivated by Imam Khomeini's thoughts.

The SDPN chief however noted that the regional nations have suffered lack of a savvy leader like the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
