Hamas praises 37 years of IRI support to Palestine

Senior Hamas official in charge of foreign relations, Osama Hamdan says the resistance movement enjoys a 25-year record of relations with the Islamic Republic, adding the relations are strategic rather than merely political.

Hamdan made the remarks in a visit to the Qodsna office in Tehran on Tuesday.

Asked about IRI’s support to the Palestinian issue, the Hamas member said the Iranian support has been beyond a political slogan, adding Iran has already advocated the Palestinian issue in the past 37 years.

The Hamas member said the largest fruit of the victory of the Islamic Revolution was the formation of the regional axis of resistance, especially in Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine.
