Hamas official meets pro-Palestinian activists in Iran
Senior Hamas official in charge of foreign relations, Osama Hamdan has met with representatives of pro-Palestinians NGOs in Iran.
The meeting took place in the office of the Society in Defense of the Palestinian Nation (SDPN) in Tehran in which Hamdan praised the Islamic Revolution of Iran as the key source of an evolution in the region in favor of the anti-imperialism campaign as well as support for the oppressed nations.
Hamdan acknowledged that the IRI support to the Palestinian issue was beyond a political slogan, adding the Iranian support led to the establishment of the regional axis of resistance.
In another regard, Hamdan warned about schism among the Muslim sects, adding any division in the Muslim community would serve the Israeli interests.
The Hamas official added however that the Zionist community suffers a slew of internal problems, adding Israel would face harsh times in the next five years.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Hamdan joined informal talks with the pro-Palestinian activists.
