PA should be dissolved for the good of Palestinian unity
Palestinian analyst, Naser al-Leham has expressed concerns about PA Spokesman Nabil abu Rudeina’s recent remarks that the Palestinian Authority would adopt significant decisions outside the framework of the authority, saying the PA should pursue the dissolution of the establishment in an effort to pave the way for the unity of Palestinians.
Leham write in a piece in Maan that the Palestinian Authority should underline non-recognition of Israel and renounce the Oslo accord so as to restore the pre-Oslo situation.
“It should also stop security coordination with Israel and rebuild the Palestinian Liberation Organization,” he said.
Leham said the Palestinian nation could no longer tolerate the current situation with Israel violating any norms or standards on the ground.
“I hope the Palestinian authorities dare take such decisions,” he said.
