US politicians have to voice support for Israel

Iranian expert in regional affairs, Mosayyeb Naimi says the Zionist regime will remain to be a protected element within the US political structure with any president to come pursuing to secure Israel as a priority foreign policy.

The expert added however that the situation has proved to be a source of unease for the Americans themselves so that many elites in the US are debating whether it is worth to pay the heavy costs to support Israel.

“The US public opinion knows the US interests have sustained b lows due to supporting Israel,” he told the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) in a phone interview in Tehran.

Naimi went on to say that in the EU states however the trend is reversing so that many EU authorities for a first time say the Israeli violations are no more justifiable.

The expert said a similar trend was in the making in the US with a tangible drop in support for Israeli violations among the US politicians.

Naimi added however that any US politician who may dare keep a distance from the US policies would face some sort of libels.

“US presidents are usually afraid of such libels and for the same reason, anyone who becomes president would voice support for Israel in his first term in office so as to avoid the Israeli anger,” Naimi added.
