Anti-occupation intifada goes on until goals met

Senior Hamas leader, Mahmoud Zahar says the PA security coordination with Israel has helped paved the ground for the daily attacks by the Zionist settlers against the al-Aqsa mosque.

The Palestinian leader made the remarks in an interview with the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) on phone.

Zahar noted that the current anti-occupation intifada started in response to the settlers' invasion as well as the Israeli plan of dividing the mosque temporally and spatially.

The Palestinian official said the settlers' attacks fell in number amid the growing anti-occupation operations however they resumed in full amid the PA help to Israel in arresting the Palestinian activists.

"The situation however would not hold and the Israeli army could not repress the intifada," Zahar said, adding the intifada would continue until the ultimate Palestinian goals are met.

The Hamas leader said the anti-occupation resistance would grow in strength in the occupied West Bank the same way it grew in the besieged Gaza.
