Qodsna's coverage of Gaza war, wider than BBC, al-Arabiya

A university study shows that the Qods News Agency (Qodsna)’s coverage of the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza in 2014 was more extensive than BBC and al-Arabiya.

The study conducted as an MA thesis also showed that the BBC and al-Arabiya sided with Israel during the 51 day war on the besieged enclave.

Conducted by Qodsna news manager, Sirus Shirzad, the study reviewed the news items posted online on the websites of the three news agencies as of July 8, 2014 until September 2, 2014 through a quantitative approach and using information coding techniques.

During the period, the BBC and al-Arabiya posted 242 news items online combined while the Qods News Agency posted 1024 pieces of news out of which 344 pieces were selected by random.

The study was defended in May 2016.
