Day of Quds reminds of lost Palestinian rights
A spokesman of the Palestinian anti-occupation movement, Islamic Jihad says the international solidarity day of Quds reminds one of the lost rights of the Palestinian nation.
Davoud Shihab was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) a few days ahead of the 38th edition of the annual event.
The spokesman touched on Imam Khomeini’s initiative in designating the day and said the initiative helped keep the Palestinian issue in place.
The spokesman also touched on the current anti-occupation intifada and said it showed the Palestinian nation would never abandon its rights.
Shihab urged for an all-out presence in the day by the Muslim community in support of the Palestinian issue.
“This is an undertaking for all Muslims and supporters of human rights,” he said of the day that falls on the next Friday.
