Failures in 2014 war on Gaza still haunting Israeli troopers

Friday marks the two year anniversary of since the start of a war on Gaza that turned genocidal when Israel resorted to the mass killings of civilians in a bid to crush the resolve of the Palestinian combatants but to no avail.

The war was dubbed by Israel as ‘Operation Protective Edge.’

An inquiry document written by the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of ‘Defense’ detailing the operation's failures still hasn't been released, however, according to Ynet.

There have been almost 90 Knesset meetings on the subject of the operation which saw 68 Israeli troopers dead.

An Israeli lawmaker, Erel Margalit has admitted that political interests were keeping the report from being published.

"Operation Protective Edge was, by all accounts, full of military and political failures," Margalit wrote in a letter in the parliament.
