Palestinian movements oppose Saudi normalization

Palestinian anti-occupation movements have declared their opposition to normalization of ties between Saudi Arabia and Israel.
Declarations by Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) came after retired Saudi General Anwar Eshqi visited Israel and met with Israeli intelligence chief, Dore Gold.
Hamas member in the Palestinian parliament, Yahya Moussa told Quds Press that Saudi must avoid any sort of normalization as it would encourage Israel to further its atrocities against the Palestinian nation.
Moussa said Hamas opposes any sort of normalization for any motivation.
“Zionist regime must instead be boycotted and its authorities should be put on dock,” he said.
Also, senior member of the Islamic Jihad movement, Khaled Batsch said the Saudi visit dealt a blow to the Palestinian issue and granted Israel a leeway in its judazation of the occupied Quds.
Batsch called on Saudi to put an end to the serial visits, adding they would also harm the country and its population itself.
And, the PFLP issued a statement, calling the trend of visits perilous for the Palestinian cause.
The movement said the visit was made by a Saudi government’s green light, adding Saudi apparently seeks to divert the regional nations from their main battle with Israel.
