Abbas MKO visit points to PA bankruptcy

Iranian expert in regional affairs, Hassan Hanizadeh says acting PA head, Mahmoud Abbas’ meeting with the terrorist MKO group’s head, Mariam Rajavi points to high degrees of political bankruptcy within the Palestinian authority.

Hanizadeh was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) in Tehran.

He touched on reports that Saudi had bribed both to stage the meeting, adding the Saudi seeks to field certain currents into its anti-Iranian front.

The expert said even lowest ranking Israeli authorities are not ready to meet Aabbas, adding the meeting with the terrorist ringleader shows the Authority was at a dead-end.

Hanizadeh regretted however that the Palestinians interests have no more significance for Abbas, adding his skewed path would allow Israel to keep the Palestinian nation under their yokes.
