Future war is war of cinemas

A senior Iranian cinema authority says the future war is the war of cinema, arguing that those countries would win which are able to present a favorable image of themselves while depicting an ugly image of their enemies.

Managing director of the multimedia department of the cinema organization of the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Sayyed Mostafa Abtahi was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna).

“In the west, cinema and politicos are walking side by side with cinema folks meeting the mission to serve their nation,” he said, adding the Iranian cinema folks must be helped to carry out Iran’s major policies in the international scene.

“I hope our cinema folks would find an international audience and pass the rhetoric of anti-occupation resistance to free nations in the world,” Abtahi added.
