Trump better than Obama for Israel

Iranian expert in international affairs Hassan Abedini says Israel-US ties are so strategic that they would not take any effects from the change of presidents in America.

Speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna), the expert said the Zionist regime has received support from the US for the past seven decades and that the coming to office of Donald Trump would not affect the support.

The expert noted that Trump’s positions are hard top predict due to lack of political record on his part however the entire governing body in the US would not allow Israel-US relations to be dented during his administration.

Abedini noted that even when Obama had found faults with Netanyahu, the US military aid vow to Israel was met in full.

The expert also noted that several elements that are speculated to be in Trump Administration are already known as confidants of Israel, including John Bolton and Michael Flynn.

The expert said the situation on the ground shows that Trump even would be better for Israel than Obama.
