Aleppo liberation, a legendary victory

A senior Iranian analyst in regional affairs says the liberation of the Syrian city of Aleppo (Halab) from the hand of western-backed anti-resistance militants was a legendary victory, inspired by the Islamic revolutionary aspirations.

Sadolah Zarei was speaking to a group researchers in West Asia ('Middle East') affairs in Tehran.

He talked of a confrontation in the region between a US-led international force and a resistance-based regional force, adding that the victory actually was an alarm for the US-led force which considers its malicious interests in danger.

Zarei noted that the Aleppo liberation was very strategic for the force of resistance, adding that the city was in the grip of the terrorist forces, including the Nusra Front whose forces had already repelled many US-led operations.
