SDPN holds conference on Gaza resistance

A conference was held in Tehran on Saturday on the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.

Organized by the Society in Defense of the Palestinian Nation (SDPN), the conference was titled “Gaza, symbol of resistance.”

Several major personalities spoke during the conference.

SDPN Secretary General, Zahra Mostafavi says the Palestinian issue serves as identity for the Iranian nation.

She lauded the attendees for “pursuing the Palestinian issue as a human must.”

Iranian Intelligence Minister, Sayyed Mahmoud Alawi says Israel has currently relinquished the idea of Nile to Euphrates state and instead strives to survive in the region, facing the regional developments.

The minister said the flag of anti-Israeli resistance was hoisted by the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini and was kept hoisted by his successor, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

“The Zionist regime was fabricated illegitimately and continued its life illegitimately based on the unjustifiable idea of a nation-less land for a landless nation,” Alawi said.

The minister added that Britain planted Israel in the region in a bid to destroy Islam

And, Senior SDPN member, Hojatoleslam Rahimian said the balance of power has changed in the Palestinian issue as Palestinians who once battled Israel empty-handed are now equipped.

Rahimian said the ISIS terror group was formed to destroy the regional resistance and create a margin of safety for Israel but to no avail.

“Their efforts have had backlashes as the entire region has joined a single force against Israel,” he said, adding the future is bright.

The conference aimed to remember the brave perseverance of the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip during the 22-day onslaught.

It was the seventh edition of the conference.
