US, Israel work in tandem with one another

Aide to Iranian parliament speaker, Hossein Amir Abdollahian says it may not be possible to separate the Israeli authorities and the US authorities in politics, adding the two side work in tandem with one another.

Amir Abdollahian was answering a question on the prospect of the US-Israel relations in an interview with the Qods News Agency (Qodsna).

The senior diplomat said it was ill-advised to consider the US-Israel relations during Barack Obama’s era as bad, adding all presidents in the US have enjoyed the support of pro-Israeli lobbies in the country.

Asked about the likely US decision to move its embassy in Israel to the occupied al-Quds (‘Jerusalem’), Amir Abdollahian said the move would usher in a new wave of the anti-occupation intifada, adding the ill-advised decision would further make Israel insecure.

The senior diplomat also cautioned about reports of Saudi ties with Israel, adding the alleged normalization would not bring security for the Arab country and would further make it vulnerable to threats.

Asked about the effect of regional conflicts on the Israeli security, Amir Abdolahian said the regional conflicts have apparently provided some opportunities for Israel however they would eventually develop a space for the regional anti-Israeli resistance and further added to its expertise.
