Crisis of medicines is still ongoing in Gaza
The Palestinian ministry of health said the crisis of medicines is still ongoing in the besieged Gaza Strip and condemned the unconstitutional government in Ramallah city for contributing to this crisis.
"The unconstitutional government of Ramallah is pursuing the dropper policy with Gaza Strip patients as there has been a continuing shortage of medicines and medical supplies since the beginning of last July," director of information and public relations at the health ministry Ashraf Al-Qudra stated in a press release on Saturday.
Qudra affirmed that this policy is unjustified and deepens the rift in the Palestinian arena, stressing the need for sparing the medical file any political changes and considering the rights of Palestinian patients above all else.
He noted that the health ministry in Gaza submitted its needs of medicines and medical supplies several times to the government in Ramallah, but the latter did not assume its moral and national duties as it should do in this regard.
