Hans Ucko: Qods day helped bring Qods issue to world attention

A senior official with the World Council of Churches told Qodsna that the importance of World Qods Day was that it helped bring to the attention of the World no- peace situation in Al-Qods city which otherwise should be a city of peace.

"Each year World Qods Day remembers us that we must do more for peace."

"Imam Khomeini wisely called the attention of the World to the fact that there was still no peace achieved in Al-Qods and that people of the region are suffering," Ucko said.

He urged all Muslims, Christians and Jews to try to help bring peace in Qods.
