Zatari: Imam Khomeini kept Quds issue in minds

Secretary of General of the Syrian religious advisory in Syria told Qodsna correspondent that Imam Khomeini, the late founder of Islamic Republic, by designation of World Quds Day kept the Quds issue in the minds of all people in the world.

Sheikh Allauddin Zatari said Quds was the pivot of attention of all Muslims and will remain in memories as it had already kept alive in the hearts.

"Quds will be a city of peace," Zatari said.

"We will never allow the city (Al-Quds) to turn into capital for the regime of Israel, the instructor of comparative jurisprudence and Islamic economy added.

"Imam Khomeini was a human rights advocate that by designation of Quds Day encouraged all people to support Palestine and Al-Aqsa, the pivotal issues of Islam."
