Zanganeh: Qods day shows significance of Palestinian issue for Islamic world

An expert in international affairs said Imam Khomeini's initiative to designate the World Qods Day underlined the significance of the Palestinian issue for the world of Islam.

September 26 marks the international day when the free people across the world would take to streets to voice solidarity with the Palestinian nation.

Sabah Zanganeh told Qodsna that Imam Khomeini the late founder of Islamic republic of Iran revived the Palestinian issue at time when the Zionists were trying to clear the name of Palestine and Quds from the memories.

"By designation of the world Quds day, Imam Khomeini urged the international public opinion to find right, just and logical solution for the Palestinian cause."
