Hawatmeh: Victory of Imam Khomeini revolution, victory of Palestinian issue

Secretary General of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), Nayef Hawatmeh told Qodsna that the designation of World Quds Day by Imam Khomeini, the late founder of Islamic Republic made Arab and Islamic world aware.

"Imam Khomeini by designation of World Quds Day put curtain aside from the conflict between tyrants and the oppressed people, he added.

"Imam Khomeini called the nations of the region to confront the global arrogance and the Israeli regime."

"The victory of Islamic Republic of Iran is the victory of palatine", DFLP chief said.

"Every year on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan we see thousands of people in streets calling for the liberation of Quds. It is the holy Jihad which has made the conscience of every justice seeker aware," Hawatmeh added.

By the move (designation of World Quds Day), Imam Khomeini gave new breath to the Palestinian resistance," he said.

Asked about the importance of this year's World Quds Day, Hawatmeh pointed to threaten to Quds and the situation in international and regional countries.
