Vice-Chairman of IRI Committee of Majlis' National security and foreign policy said the resistance in region got an Islamic entity after the victory of Islamic Revolution of Iran.

"After the victory of Islamic revolution, now we are witnessing the achievements of resistance in Middle East and regional countries which is inspired by the victory of Iranian nation against former regime of Shah," Hojjat-ul-Islam Hossein Sobhani Niya said.
 
He also said resistance movements such as Lebanon's Hezbollah and Palestinian's Hamas and Islamic Jihad have been established as a result of victory of the Islamic Revolution led by late Imam Khomeini.

"Islamic Republic's stance in support of resistance movements and opposing with Zionism will not change," the lawmaker said.

"Form the point of view of Imam Khomeini, Zionism is the cause of tyranny and racism supported by Britain in the aim of creating split in the Islamic world and securing the interests of arrogance in occupied Palestine."

Referring to unequal war of Israeli regime in 33-day war with Hezbollah and 22-day war in Gaza Strip, he said Zionist regime failed to achieve its goals in both wars. He urged the world's Muslims to use their abilities to eliminate Zionist regime.

Iranian parliamentarian termed struggle against oppressors, colonialism, racism and sedition on the ground as values of humanity.

"Victory of the Islamic Revolution is one of the most important reasons for the failure of US-Zionist schemes in the region," Hojjat-ul-Islam Sobhani Niya said.
