Senior IRI MP: Israel's 60th anniversary festivals are but to carry water with sieve
Member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission described Zionist regime's attempts to hold ceremonies of the 60th anniversary of its creation as an effort to legitimize the regime.
Kazem Jalali likened the efforts to invite some leaders of the world to attend in 60th anniversary as carrying water with sieve.
Speaking to Qodsna, he said such efforts were useless.
"Lack of international legitimacy is a serious problem facing the problem," Jalali said.
All the attempts that the Zionist occupying regime has committed during the past decades to present itself as a political system in the world are doomed to failure. The regime would not get any success rather it was known as a usurper and cruel regime in the eyes people," the lawmaker noted.
"However western countries try to cover up Zionist regime's crimes and introduce it as a state or system," he said, adding they have already failed to achieve their goals.
Asked what Arab and Islamic countries must do to confront such plots, Jalali said the Islamic countries must unveil the true face of the imperialist regime. He urged the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) to take practical measures against the Zionist regime.
