Abu Zahri told Qodsna: Israel must opt for truce or face rockets

Speaking to Qodsna correspondent in Beit Lahm, Spokesman of the Gaza-based Palestinian government Hamas, Sami Abu Zahri announced the government is ready to build truce with Zionist regime, adding that the regime must choose between truce or more conflicts.

"Now the ball is in the court of Israel," he said, adding that Hamas is awaiting and official response from Israel through Egypt.

Asked about the likelihood of resumption of internal dialogue between Fatah and Hamas, he said the case depends on US stance as the Palestinian authority chief only takes order from America.

"Hamas will accept jointly control of borders with the Palestinian authorities," the spokesman said, rejecting any offer of EU supervision over the borders.

"Resistance will continue resistance against Israeli incursions if the regime continues aggressions and sustains blockades," he added.
