Gaza university professor: U.S. & Israel and not Iran are the main threat to region

Jihad Abu Tovaileh, Palestinian professor in Al-Azhar University and political expert in Gaza said that America and Zionist regime and not IRI are the main threats to the region.

Speaking to Qodsna correspondent in Gaza, Tovaileh said America triggers crises in th region under the pretext of dispensing democracy fighting terrorism or dismantling nuclear weapons, actually aiming to keep Iran afar its regional projects.

"America and Israel try to prevent Iran form supporting resistance in the region by imposing further pressures on the country and making it to abandon support to Muslims in Palestine and Quds," he said.

"They (America and Israel) try to separate Iran from Syria, Lebanon and Palestinian resistance and then wrap the Palestinian issue," he added.
