Senator Akram Zaki: Imam Khomeini, example for other Muslims countries

Former Secretary General of Pakistan's Foreign Affairs described Imam Khomeini as example for the other Muslims countries, adding ‘by designating the World Quds Day, Imam Khomeini reminded the Muslims that Quds is still under occupation.’

Few days ahead of the World Quds Day, Senator Akram Zaki said "By designating the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as World Quds Day, Imam Khomeini revived the support for Palestinian and Quds in the heart of Muslims and remindrd the Muslims that Quds is still under occupation.

He said that Imam Khomeini built society based on spirituality, ethics and morality.

“Imam Khomeini was a great revolutionary leader who tried to revive Islamic culture and civilization in the world which was dominated by materialism,” Zaki said.

Unfortunately in many Muslim countries, leaders have links with certain western powers and are not allied with the people of their country, the chairman of Pakistan International Human Rights Organization (PIHRO) said, adding "we have to organize Muslim people to put pressure on their own governments to have a more realistic pro-Islamic policy.
