Sheikh Tamimi: IRI, good model in supporting Quds

Palestinian Supreme Judge described designation of World Quds Day by late Imam Khomeini as a good initiative for boosting the position of Quds among Muslims.

Sheikh Tayseer Tamimi urged Arab and Islamic countries to make IR of Iran as their model in support of Palestine and Quds.

Imam Khomeini revived importance and real position of Quds among Muslims, he said.

“By designating the last Friday of holy month of Ramadan as World Quds Day, Imam Khomeini recalled the Islamic Ummah to fulfill their duty in defending Al-Aqsa mosque and Quds.”

Pointing to the effect of Iran’s Islamic revolution victory on the Palestinian issue, Judge Tamimi said the Palestinian issue is the issue of all Muslims, adding ‘Iran had supported the Palestinian issue since the revolution victory, it was necessary for all Arab and Islamic countries to support Palestine in the same manner as Iran has done.

Tamimi described resistance against Israeli occupiers as legitimate and the divine right of Palestinians, adding resistance will continue until the end of occupation.

He also condemned Zionist regime's excavations under Al-Aqsa mosque.  udge Tamimi warned that Quds is facing real danger as Zionist regime continues its judaization efforts against Al-Quds.
