Mufti of Quds slammed Muslim negligence in defense of Quds

After holy cities of Mecca and Medina, Quds is a third holiest city that has high position among the Muslims, but we Muslims have been neglecting in defending the city which is under occupation of a usurper regime since 1967, Mufti of Quds and Palestine told Qodsna.

Day of Quds designated by late Imam Khomeini in support and defense of Quds aimed for increasing awareness of people of the world about the tragedy and catastrophe that holy Quds is facing with, Sheikh Akrame Sabri said.

He urged Muslims not to be negligent in defending Quds.

Sabri also urged Muslims to participate at the ceremonies of International Quds Day to announce their support for holy Quds.

The preacher called for lifting blockades and restriction posed by Zionists on this old city.

He also appreciated efforts of Iran as well as all Arab and Muslim countries for helping the Palestinian people.

"Decisions that were taken at congresses and conferences in support of Quds should be practical and not merely an ink on sheet", Sabri added.
