Israel takes courage from US to threaten IRI – Bishop

Archbishop Dr. Hanna Atallah said the Israeli regime takes courage from America to threaten Iran with military attack.

Archbishop Theodosios Atallah Hanna, Archbishop of Sevastia, from the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Beit Ul Moqaddas told Qodsna correspondent in Beit Lahm that the threats originate from its violent culture.

"Israeli threats points to the regime's callous nature which it carries since its establishment," he added.

"We condemn such threats. We are opposed to any war in the region," the archbishop said.

Pointing to the ongoing Israeli efforts to judaise Qods, Hana noted that Israel had continued the illegal efforts since 1948.

The bishop called the Israeli efforts as a war criminal and warned that the Israelis were trying to change the Arab- Palestinian- Islamic- and Christian features of the holy Qods.

In reaction to reports that Israeli regime had produced a map of Palestine without Qods, he said Qods was the heart of Palestine, adding that qods without Palestine and Palestine without Qods was not possible.
