Several Iranian experts and analysts noted on the sidelines of a conference on Persian Gulf security that the Zionist regime is a major threat against regional security.
On the sidelines of the 18th international conference on Persian Gulf which opened in Tehran Monday morning with participation of scholars and researchers from major countries, several political experts interviewed by Qodsna described the existence of Zionist regime as a major factor of insecurity and instability in the region.
Hussein Sheikh Ul-Islam member of Majlis and former ambassador in Syria said the best way to restore security in the region is to eradicate Zionist regime.
"As long as the Israeli regime exists, tension and crises will linger."
Suggesting the Israeli regime was in gradual collapse, the MP said "Israel moves toward collapsing day by day."
"Resistance is keeping on and Islamic awareness improves," he said.
Sayyed Hamid Rouhani, a researcher and writer warned against the danger of Zionism for the people of the region, saying the unity of Middle East and Persian Gulf sates is the most important factor to neutralize the danger.
He urged for solving the discords among regional countries and convergence among Islamic countries.
"If Muslims nation get united, all enemy plots will fail."
Reminding Jamal Abdul Naser's quote that "every thing lost by force will be only retaken by force", Rouhani said only unity and convergence can enable people of the region to decide their fate on their own.
In another interview, deputy foreign minister for research and education, Manouchehr Mohammadi described Zionist regime as the cause of insecurity in the region.
"Israel is the major factor behind regional insecurity. The past experiences show that most crises and conflicts have occurred due to Israeli tough stance."
