Shaath: All Palestinians remember Imam Khomeini as a great man

Member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) Central Council Nabil Shaath voiced hope that good progress will be made in Iran-Palestine relations.

Answering to Qodsna question at a news conference at Cairo about possibility of expansion of ties between Iran and Palestine, Shaath expressed hope that World Quds day will be a tool for achieving progress in bilateral ties.

There is no hostility between us and Iran, he said, adding we appreciate all Arab and Islamic countries that support Palestine and stand with Palestinians.

We also welcome all plans in defense of Quds and keeping its Arabic identity, PLO member said.
